At KIOSC- 2 hours face to face program
What students will learn:
Students will learn how to transfer their understanding of cartesian planes to create 3D models. Students will also learn how 3D printers function and learn how to use appropriate settings when printing their models.
This lesson can be differentiated for the students levels – using different software tools.
What students will do:
Learners will use mathematical design to develop an understanding in the x, y and z cartesian plane. Learners will design and create 3D models using 3D software such as Tinkercad, AutoCAD or Fusion360, depending on the students skill level.
Students will use the KIOSC fleet of Ultimaker 3D printers to render and print their models. KIOSC will send the models to the schools on completion of the printing.
